For insurance reasons, only members can attend our riding events. Non-members can attend up to two social events per year for which non-member tickets are available. Members can also generally bring guests to social events. If you're not sure that an annual membership is for you, buy a ‘Ticket to Ride’ which includes a two-hour hack and two-month membership, so you can see what it is like!
Absolutely! If you are interested in horses, or riding, we would love to have you on board! We have a busy social calendar of events and the team will be very happy to kick-start your riding career…if you fancy it! Contact the team to work out what membership type would best suit your requirements.
No. Very few of our members own a horse and for all of our riding-events horses are supplied.
Yes absolutely! We have quite a few members who’ve never ridden before and don’t know where to start – hence joining the club! However, most of our members do have some prior experience of riding, even if it was a long time ago, and most of the riding events we organise are not suitable for absolute beginners. On joining the club all members receive a complimentary rider consultation where we discuss your goals and put together a training plan for you to get you going. We will recommend stables based on your location, lifestyle and level of experience and you will receive 10% off all tuition at our partner stables.
Yes, pretty much. We have riding events taking place most weeks of the year. Our regular member-only lessons are generally for more experienced riders, but you can always use your membership discount to book rides at the stables we partner with at a time and frequency of your choosing.
Some of our events are very popular and do get booked up in advance, so it's worth keeping an eye on the website and regular newsletter mailout and signing up as soon as possible. However some events can be booked nearer the time, and we often keep a waiting list in case of cancellations.
So long as you're over 18yrs and in reasonable good health, anyone can become a member. Even if you're not able to get in the saddle, you can still become a social member and keep up your equine interests from the safety of the ground!
