With this incredible Summer continuing we are thrilled to be out and about on horse back! We’ve had some brilliant events in July and there are more coming up in August, kicking off with another evening hack in Windsor Park this evening. Ham Polo Club are hosting a Fishers Gin Friday Night Polo match which will be a merry event, and we then have our fabulous ‘Curry Hack’ in Wiltshire. Lessons at Hallingbury Hall (dressage) and Chessington (SJ) are continuing as usual with our sessions at the wonderful King’s Troop now a regular fixture. Finally we have the first of a series of events celebrating the club’s 10th Anniversary with a Special Summer BBQ at National Liberal Club – grab your ticket now!
What we got up to in July…
We started July with a jolly gathering in Hyde Park for Pimms and Picnic in the Park; the sun was out in all it’s glory so we found a shady spot and let the Pimms and conversation flow. As well as our regular Show Jumping lessons at Chessington, we had a beautiful Evening Hack from the yard (“we should definitely do it again” said those that went!). We also had our Discover Polo Day at Westcroft which was fun, and after just two hours of tuition, we were able to play a chukka. We continued with the evening hacks, this time with one in Windsor Park and another cantering along the beach at Glimping. What fun!
